Here are the most common ways to get here:

By Ferry:
From June 12 to September 18, B.C. Ferries provides 5 weekly sailings to Haida Gwaii. Your departure point to the Queen Charlottes is Prince Rupert and you will arrive at Skidegate Landing approximately 6½ hours later. Some travelers may wish to take the scenic Inside Passage route. This is a 2 day trip departing from Port Hardy on Vancouver Island, sailing up the scenic coast of British Columbia to Prince Rupert. From Prince Rupert you will catch a second ferry to the Haida Gwaii. We strongly recommend pre-booking with B.C. Ferries as space is limited and the summer months are busy.

By Air:
Air Canada Jazz has daily flights to Sandspit. If you arrive at the Sandspit airport, Gwaii Taxi & Tours provides a shuttle service that can transport you to Queen Charlotte, which has the advantage of providing a scenic 20 minute ferry crossing. North Pacific Seaplanes flies to Haida Gwaii departing from Prince Rupert. It lands in both Queen Charlotte and Sandspit.

By Rail:
Via Rail offers train service to Prince Rupert. From there you will have to either take a B.C. Ferry or a North Pacific Seaplanes flight to get to Haida Gwaii. Remember to reserve your seat on B.C. Ferries and a rental car on Haida Gwaii if needed.

By Bus:
Greyhound Canada offers bus service to Prince Rupert. From there you will have to take a B.C. Ferry to get to the Haida Gwaii. Remember to reserve your seat on B.C. Ferries and a rental car on the Queen Charlottes if needed.
